Voicing
In short
You can delete your account from the app itself, under Manage → Sign out → Delete account, or by asking by email. We erase your personal data within 30 days. The history of schedules that already happened stays with the group, anonymized.
From the app
- Open Voicing and go to the Manage tab.
- Scroll to the end and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. We will ask you to sign in again, for safety, before finishing.
By email
If you can’t get into the app, write to privacidade@voicing.com.br from the same email registered on the account, with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm your identity and complete the deletion within 15 days.
What gets erased
- Your name, email, photo and sign-in data.
- Your roles and your membership in the groups.
- Your unavailability dates.
- The identifiers of your devices used for notifications.
- The messages you wrote on the board and in the notices.
What stays, and why
- The history of schedules that already happened, anonymized. The record that a service had a line-up and a set of songs belongs to the ministry too, and erasing it would change the history of events that did take place. Your name stops appearing.
- Access logs, for 6 months, as required by the Brazilian Internet Civil Framework (art. 15).
- Data needed to comply with a legal obligation or for defence in proceedings, for the applicable period.
If you are the only administrator of a group, hand the
administration over to another member before deleting your account.
Without an administrator, nobody in the group can create schedules or
manage members.
Timings
- Immediately: your account stops working and you disappear from future schedules.
- Within 30 days: deletion of personal data.
- Within 6 months: expiry of the access logs kept by legal obligation.
