Version 1.4 · in force since 26 August 2026

This is a translation. The original of this document is written in Portuguese and is the version that governs. Where the translation and the Portuguese text diverge, the Portuguese version prevails.
Changed on 17/08/2026. Section 6 now records the one situation in which other groups see something of yours: when you publish a chord chart to the shared library, it appears with your name as the author. Before, the text said other groups see nothing, which stopped being accurate once the library came into being. This document describes how the app works today and is under legal review. Updates are published here and announced inside the app before they take effect.

Name change on 17/08/2026. The app used to be called QuickTok and is now called Voicing. It is the same app and the same controller: no data processing changed because of it. The privacy channel address changed with the name, from privacidade@quicktok.app to privacidade@voicing.com.br. The former never existed as a mailbox, and a privacy channel that receives nothing is worse than none. Nothing else changed, which is why the name change does not require a new acceptance.

In short

Voicing organizes schedules for music teams. To do that we keep your name, your email, the roles you hold in the group and the history of the schedules you took part in. We do not sell your data and we do not use your information for advertising. The people who see what you do in the app are the people in your own group, with one exception that depends on you: a chord chart published to the shared library appears to every group, with your name. You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time, straight from the app or at the address at the end of this page.

1. Who handles your data

Voicing is operated by Jhonatan de Jesus do Nascimento Jardim, an individual, domiciled in Linhares, Espírito Santo, Brazil, referred to here simply as "Voicing" or "we". We are the controller of the personal data processed in the app, under Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (Law 13,709/2018, the LGPD).

The full taxpayer registration (CPF) and the address may be requested at any time at the contact email, or by a competent authority.

The group (band, ministry or team) that invites you also makes decisions about your data within its own space: who joins, who leads, which schedules exist. In those decisions, the group acts as a controller alongside us.

2. Data we collect

We collect only what the app needs to work.

You provide

Data When What for
Name On sign-up Identify you on the schedule to the rest of the team
Email On sign-up Sign in and recover access
Profile photo Optional, or from the Google/Apple sign-in Recognize who is who on the team
Roles you hold Set by you or by the leadership Know which slots you can be scheduled for
Dates you can’t make When you mark yourself unavailable Not schedule you on those dates
Messages you write On the schedule board and in the notices Communication with the team
Charts you publish, with your name Only when you publish one to the shared library Credit whoever contributed and let other groups adopt the chart

The app generates

We do not collect location, phone calendar, contacts, microphone, background camera, or any sensitive data such as declared religion, health or biometrics. The fact that you use a scheduling app is not treated by us as a declaration of religious conviction.

3. What we use it for

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not profile for ads, and we do not sell, rent or hand over your information to third parties for commercial purposes.

Processing Legal basis (LGPD)
Create and keep your account, build schedules, notify Performance of a contract (art. 7, V)
Participation history for the rotation and the suggestions Legitimate interest (art. 7, IX): it is what makes the distribution fair, and it is what anyone joining a rotation expects
Push notifications Performance of a contract for the operational ones; consent at the operating-system level, revocable in the settings
Security, fraud prevention and investigating reports Legitimate interest (art. 7, IX)
Keeping access logs Compliance with a legal obligation (Brazilian Internet Civil Framework, art. 15)

5. Who we share with

We use third-party services to run the app. They process data on our instruction, as processors.

Service What for Where the data sits
Google Firebase (Google LLC) Accounts, the schedules database, notifications and server-side processing Database in the São Paulo region, Brazil. Some sub-services may process data outside the country
Apple / Google (social sign-in) Sign in with an Apple or Google account, if you choose to As per each company’s policy

Where there is an international transfer of data, it happens with the safeguards set out in articles 33 and following of the LGPD, through the suppliers’ contractual clauses.

We may also share data when the law requires it, by court order or order of a competent authority.

[To be defined, as the product’s next phases arrive]: when the financial and song-search features come in, this section will also list the payment processor and the music catalogue services, with the same clarity.

6. Who sees what inside the app

7. How long we keep it

8. Your rights

The LGPD gives you the right to confirm whether we process your data, to access it, correct it, ask for anonymization or deletion, request portability, know who we share it with, withdraw consent and object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest.

To exercise any of them, write to privacidade@voicing.com.br. We answer within 15 days. To delete your account, see also the account deletion page, with the step by step inside the app.

9. Security

Data travels encrypted and sits on Google Cloud infrastructure. Access to a group’s information is controlled by rules on the server, and not only in the app: someone who is not a member of the group cannot read its data, even trying from outside the app.

No system is infallible. If a security incident occurs with relevant risk to you, we will notify you and Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority, as per article 48 of the LGPD.

10. Children and adolescents

Music teams have teenagers, and the app may be used by people under 18 with the authorization and supervision of their parents or guardians. For children under 13, signing up depends on specific consent from one of the parents or the legal guardian, under article 14 of the LGPD.

If we identify a child’s account without that consent, we will delete it. Parents and guardians may request access, correction or deletion of the data at the contact address.

11. Changes to this policy

When we change something material, we tell you in the app itself before the change takes effect, with a summary of what changed in plain language. Previous versions remain available on this page.
